Lee, denoting the Manchester, Mass. workshop of Charles Lee who crafted beds for the Southern market. The octagonal posts support a paneled headboard with a shell-carved crest, centered by a cabochon and fruit carving below, the post joined by shaped rails, each with a central cartouche.
