American Rococo Revival furniture, antique bedroom furniture. An American Rococo Revival Mahogany Bed, third quarter 19th century, with the incised stamp, C. Lee, denoting the Manchester, Mass. workshop of Charles Lee who crafted beds for the Southern market. The octagonal posts support a paneled headboard with a shell-carved crest, centered by a cabochon and fruit carving below, the post joined by shaped rails, each with a central cartouche.
