American Classical dressing table of mahogany and crotch mahogany veneers; a vertical swan neck cradle supports the original mirror above the raised edge Carara marble. The single drawer opens to reveal a nicely fitted writing surface with the original leather surface. The detail of the marble and drawer construction, along with the overall form of this dressing table indicate the cabinet shop of Prudence Mallard. Circa 1840.
