American Classical fold-over gaming table, the acanthus-carved center pedestal above a quadraform base terminates on original brass feet and casters, retaining its original finish and hardware. This games table is part of the important collection of Houmas House Plantation, Louisiana and is attributed to the workshop of John Needles. Circa 1835. Standing 28.5" tall the table fully opens to create a 36" square, closed 18 deep x 36 wide.

A fine Rococo Revival rosewood parlor cabinet,the upper section with a pierced carved crest over a serpentine shelf supported by shell and foliate carved brackets. The back panel fitted with a looking glass, the base with a serpentine "Brocatelle d'Espange" marble top above cupboard doors, each with arched mirrors and foliate carving. The stylist elements of this parlor cabinet strongly indicate a Philadelphia origin. Circa 1855.
